ECMS-Mughamrat Electronic Census Mobile Solution (MS4) is a product developed to conduct census over geographically distributed locations. ECMS can be applied to survey as various data as employed and unemployed population characteristics, or agricultural holdings, … etc.

ECMS-Mughamrat package uses rugged PDAs and GPS devices for data collection on the field. When the surveyors are back to their regional centers, the collected data is uploaded / synchronized to data collection workstations. Data is then conveyed to central server for final data extraction and analysis.

• Speed: data once in the PDA can be directly sent to the server for processing, and no need for reentry. results are ready within a fraction of the traditionally needed time
• Fewer errors: collected data are validated at the PDA level, at the collecting workstation level and at the central server level against built-in business and logical rules
• Zoning : the zones are entered in the system by their coordinates x, y. The PDAs will not allow a field agent to work in a zone belonging to another agent
• Avoid writing errors, and human errors: data are directly enteredt into the PDA instead of being written manually on a paper sheet with all the typical proof reading possible issues
• Verification of the field agents work: Once the points are displayed on a map, it is easy to control the logic of the survey, and the path followed by the surveyors, allowing to eventually react rapidily and ask for a recheck on the field if needed
